Making it merry! -- After collecting toys and other gifts for local youth at Wallkill Valley Federal Savings & Loan, some of the items were dropped off at The Center, where Ann Molina and Joe D'Onofrio coordinated on gift bags for several community families. There were many requests for local assistance again this year.

She's not fore sale! -- Highland Falls’ Gabrielle Gallardo spent her summer as an intern at The Center in Highland Falls, and part of that work was helping with window displays. Here, Gabi works in one of the big windows earlier this summer.

Happy Second Anniversary! -- The Center of Highland Falls, Inc. located at 312 Main St., is a community center for all residents of the Town of Highlands (Fort Montgomery, Highland Falls and West Point) and anyone who asks for assistance. With volunteers, they provide outreach such as educational activities, community service programs, youth enrichment programs, older adults interest program and more. This past Saturday the second anniversary of The Center was celebrated with an open house -- here are some of those who stopped by mid-day. Ann Molina, far left, runs The Center.
